Capturing the genuine fibers of your relationships with family and friends is at the heart of what we do. Of course, we will also capture the stunning setting, the sparkle, and the glamour of your celebration, but the who and why behind your story is infinitely more important to us.

I’ve always been drawn to creating, not because I was the kid filling sketchbooks with masterpieces (I definitely wasn’t), but because I loved capturing moments. Memories. Feelings. The way light falls through a room. The atmosphere of a place. The little details that often become the strongest memories years later.
Long before I ever filmed a wedding, I grew up immersed in Calgary’s skateboard and snowboard scenes. I lived and breathed it. Most of my time in school was spent and daydreaming about getting back on my board and heading out with friends. That culture introduced me to photography and videography at an early age and eventually put a camera in my hands.
At first, it was all about filming tricks, creating sponsor-me tapes, and making edits to relive with friends. But over time, something shifted. I became less interested in documenting the tricks and more interested in documenting the people behind them. The friendships, the passion, the shared experiences, and the memories we were creating together.
That realization ultimately led me to pursue filmmaking professionally.
I graduated with honours from the Television and Broadcast News program at SAIT in 2009, specializing in camera, audio, and lighting. From there, I took every opportunity I could find to learn and grow. I worked across a wide range of productions, from corporate and commercial projects to sports broadcasts and live events. Every experience taught me something new about storytelling, communication, and how to capture moments that matter.
What started as a passion eventually became a career.
I helped build a wedding film brand that grew far beyond anything we imagined. Over the course of 15 years, we had the privilege of documenting more than 500 weddings and love stories. We travelled to incredible locations, met extraordinary people, and witnessed some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
Those years reinforced something I’ve always believed:
The most powerful films aren’t about perfect poses or elaborate productions. They’re about people.
They’re about the way your dad looks at you before walking you down the aisle. The tears during a heartfelt speech. The laughter that erupts when nobody is expecting it. The fleeting moments that become the memories you’ll cherish most.
Today, Everyday Films represents the next chapter of my journey as a filmmaker.
It’s built on 18 years of professional filmmaking experience and hundreds of weddings, but more importantly, it’s built on a genuine love for telling authentic stories. My goal is simple: to create films that feel timeless, personal, and deeply connected to the people at the heart of them.
Your wedding day will pass faster than you can imagine. My job is to preserve not just how it looked, but how it felt.
